30+ year old featurette goes behind the scenes of The Twilight Zone: The Movie

Released in 1982, Twilight Zone: The Movie was an ambitious throwback to the classic genre series as it took a big swing at reintroducing the classic anthology model to the big screen. So, how about a walk down memory lane 32 years later?

A vintage featurette from the film has resurfaced thanks to Eyes on Cinema, featuring a full 12 minutes of interviews with original directors Steven Spielberg, John Landis, George Miller and Joe Dante. Each director handled his own mini-story within the overall run time. This behind-the-scenes footage is a fascinating blast from the past, looking at a film that was essentially a reboot before we’d really coined the term.

Along with talking about the reverence directors like Dante, Spielberg, Miller and Landis had for the franchise, the footage is also an intriguing dive into the art of directing by four of the greatest minds in the business. Check out the footage below and let us know what you think:
