Edge of Tomorrow won't be appearing on screen until June 6, but it doesn't mean we can't salivate over it now. That's because Warner Bros. has released five clips that make us hungry for more.
In four clips, below, we're treated to a few minutes of the upcoming Tom Cruise/Emily Blunt movie. They include a scene with Bill Paxton, who filmed this before he filmed his role as a military man in Agents of SHIELD (but after his role as a military man in Aliens). We also get to see Cruise's character meet Blunt's character, perhaps for the first time of many, many first times.
In the fifth clip, we get some behind-the-scenes action, which includes Tom Cruise running around in what looks like one hundred pounds of metal while attached to wires.
Edge of Tomorrow is based on the novel All You Need Is Kill by Japanese author Hiroshi Sakurazaka. According to early projections, it's looking like not quite the box office juggernaut...but early reviews have also been pretty positive. Can this Cruise/Doug Liman project hold on in a summer full of franchise flicks?
