New Arrow promo teases a broken team and villainous Longbow Hunters

Things are not looking too good for Oliver Queen, but they very rarely do. Things also look like they're about to get a whole lot worse — there's a lot of "city failing" about to go down. In other words, welcome back to Arrow

Star Stephen Amell posted a new teaser for Season 7 of The CW show on his Facebook page today, and it shows that things are looking pretty bleak for Team Arrow. We don't even know if we should call them that, anymore — they are hardly a team, just a divided group of fairly broken people.

Take a look at the new teaser below...

So... let's recap. Mad Dog is working for the FBI (great choice, guys), Curtis has a day job, and Diggle is working for ARGUS. The nasty Earth-2 "Black Siren" Laurel is still living her life as awesome Earth-1 Laurel, which is really quite creepy. Felicity is still Felicity and Oliver is still in prison. Also, Oliver seems to be fairly miserable, so nothing is really different there.

The biggest takeaway from this promo is the arrival of Season 7's villains, the Longbow Hunters. They were teased at the end of Season 6, but now they are here and ready to deal. The group comprises: Red Dart (Holly Elissa), Kodiak (Michael Jonsson), and Silencer (Miranda Edwards). Felicity manages to see the silver lining of this group appearing, but she really seems to be stretching. Also, she's probably planning to go and crash another wedding. Who's getting married soon? Anyone? Whoever it is, she'll be ready.

We'd say that we're worried for the Group-that-was-previously-known-as-Team-Arrow, but honestly they're toast already. Hopefully our heroes will snap back to action, break Oliver out of prison, and get over their petty nonsense — the Longbow Hunters are in town, and only a fully united Team Arrow can take them down! If Black Siren stopped being creepy and joined them, well, we wouldn't mind that either.

Arrow returns to The CW Oct. 15 at 8 p.m. It will not fail your television.
