Abraham and Sasha are doing 'something big' in first clip from The Walking Dead Season 6

With Fear the Walking Dead now officially underway, AMC used the buzzy premiere night to debut the first clip from the flagship series’ return.

Though the new Walking Dead trailer shown off a few months ago at San Diego Comic-Con included some major action, the first clip from Season 6 is light on set pieces. Instead, we get a relatively quiet moment between two characters more than deserving of a little screen time: Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) and Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green).

The clip finds the two off for a drive to do “something big,” though the snippet of the scene here is (of course) light on the specifics. It seems Sasha is still struggling emotionally following the drama of last season and losses incurred, and Abraham is still a bit worried about having her behind the wheel. It’s an interesting selection for a debut clip, though considering the return is almost guaranteed to (once again) shatter ratings records, they could show Daryl Dixon reading the phonebook and still be doing fine.
