Former Wonder Woman Adrianne Palicki is joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe at large by playing Bobbi Morse, aka Mockingbird, in upcoming episodes of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and here's what she had to say about joining the MCU.
In a recent interview with Crave Online conducted while Palicki attended the Fantastic Fest premiere of John Wick, the G.I. Joe actress opened up a bit about her role in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., what it’s like to join Marvel, and her thoughts on Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’s Wonder Woman, played by Gal Gadot.
When asked how many episodes Palicki would appear in as Mockingbird, the actress wouldn’t exactly commit to a particular number, only saying:
“You know, some. I can’t really divulge too much information but it’s definitely more than one.”
The actress also discussed how one jumps at the chance of playing a Marvel character when it comes along, admitting that it was a bit scary to do so:
“There’s fear in it too. I know if I play this character, I probably would never play another Marvel character. There’s different questions you have to ask, and you ask about that too. Where is this character going? All those silly fears that you get being locked into something, but I have to say working with this group of people has been amazing. These producers and show runners are fantastic and I trust them implicitly. Marvel’s been really fun to work with as well, so I’m looking forward to it and I hope it’s a long run for us.”
She also talked about Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman, and Palicki had nothing but nice things to say about the Israeli actress:
“I am so happy for her. It was an honor for me to play the character and I think it’s awesome she gets to play it now. I’m hoping that it’s kick ass and I’m sure it will be.”
Are you guys looking forward to seeing Adrianne Palicki as Mockingbird on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.?
