We don't know about you, but we happen to adore River Song, played by the wonderful Alex Kingston, on Doctor Who. And even though her character arc seems to have come full circle last season with the stunning reveal that she was [spoiler!] Amy (Karen Gillan) and Rory's (Arthur Darville) daughter—as well as the Doctor's (Matt Smith) wife—Kingston teases that she will be back.

Speaking on the Graham Norton Show while promoting her role in the new season of the BBC's Upstairs Downstairs (in which she'll play a lesbian), Kingston suggested that she'd be back as River Song on Who.

"You may see her again. Who knows? Let's just say, Upstairs Downstairs and Doctor Who don't film at the same time time."

The little tease. Of course, we know River'll be back, don't we? After all, if you guys recall, there's still that famous picnic at Asgard to look forward to.

Doctor Who showrunner Steven Moffat has previously revealed that we'd get to see the fan favorite return for season seven, which is set to begin filming this month in the U.K.

"I don't imagine she'll leave him alone now, not now she's made an honest man of him," Moffat said.

Righty-ho, mister. Of course, the Moff is referring to River's wedding to ''the Doctor'' (who, in fact, actually turned out to be a shape-shifting Tesselector robot, with the real miniaturized Doctor inside—so we think it counts as legit) during the season-six finale ''The Wedding of River Song.''

So, ''Hello Sweetie!'' Are you excited about River Song's return for Who's seventh season?
