Prolific British actor Michael Sheen updated us on his roles in the upcoming films Alice in Wonderland, Tron Legacy and a possible fourth Underworld movie.

Sheen spoke with a group of reporters Monday in Beverly Hills, Calif., where he was promoting the film The Damned United. (We'll have more shortly about Sheen's role as the evil vampire Aro in The Twilight Saga: New Moon).

1) Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland. Sheen plays the White Rabbit, whom Alice follows into Wonderland. Thanks to performance-capture technology and CGI visual effects, it looks like a real rabbit. "What a transformation," Sheen joked. "It's amazing. I really can play anything."

2) Tron Legacy. Sheen confirmed that he will play a nightclub owner inside the digital realm of Tron. "It's all inside the computer world, but that was amazing," he said, confirming that much of the film's digital-world environments were shot on actual stages rather than green-screen backgrounds. "Amazing sets. That's going to look phenomenal, I think."

3) Underworld 4 Kate Beckinsale put premature rumors of Underworld 4 to rest when she told reporters that she was not signed for it, as had previously been rumored. Sequel talk has yet to make its way to Sheen too. "I've heard rumor of it, but nobody has actually spoken to me about it, so I don't know," he said.

Alice opens March 5, 2010. Tron Legacy is due on Dec. 17, 2010.
