“Prepare for combat.” The launch trailer for Mortal Kombat XL has been released. The upcoming video game is an enhanced edition of Mortal Kombat X from NetherRealm Studios, and it’ll feature not only all the fighters and skins that were in the original game, but also those added in the original Kombat Pack and Kombat Pack 2.

Mortal Kombat XL will feature playable characters from quite a few iconic horror movies, including Friday the 13th’s Jason Voorhees, the Predator from the Predator movies, Leatherface from The Texas Chain Saw Massacre and the xenomorph from Alien -- all of them finishing their opponents in the most brutal fashion.

Check out the fighting in all its bloody glory:

Mortal Kombat XL will include:

● Brand-new playable characters Leatherface from The Texas Chain Saw Massacre horror film series and the xenomorph from Alien, along with returning Mortal Kombat characters Triborg and Bo’Rai Cho

● All playable characters from the original Mortal Kombat X Kombat Pack: Predator, Jason Voorhees, Tremor and Tanya, each accompanied by three themed skins

● New Apocalypse Skin Pack

● Previously released content for Mortal Kombat X including Goro, the Brazil Skin Pack, the Kold War Skin Pack, Samurai Skin Pack and Kold War Scorpion Skin

As a cool bonus, console owners of Mortal Kombat XL and PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners of Mortal Kombat X will be able to download for free a new Medieval Skin Pack and Pit Stage environment based on the classic Mortal Kombat arena, including a stage-specific Fatality.

Players who already own Mortal Kombat X can purchase the Mortal Kombat XL Pack, which includes content from both the original Kombat Pack and Kombat Pack 2. Those who have the original Kombat Pack will be able to enjoy the new gameplay by purchasing Kombat Pack 2.

You can get your hands on Mortal Kombat XL for the PS4 and X-Box One in stores while the Mortal Kombat XL Pack and Kombat Pack 2 are available via the PlayStation Store and Xbox Live RIGHT NOW.
