We caught up with Alien: Covenant cast members Danny McBride, Billy Crudup and Demian Bechir to talk about everything Alien.
Bechir (Lope) said he had to grapple with the pressure of working with someone like director Ridley Scott and the challenge of being one of the guys with a gun in an Alien movie (since they don't typically survive all that long).
McBride (Tennessee) agreed that it was surreal to literally walk into the world of Alien, from the Weyland-Yutani logos on the walls to the classic spaceship corridors. The funnyman also talks about finding his serious side, since there isn't much levity in this story.
Crudup (Oram) said he was sold by the opportunity to create a character within this franchise and canon and how these characters step up to face these immense challenges. He also touches on the way Scott is dealing with the idea of faith within this framework.
Oh, and they also crack a few jokes along the way. Because, c'mon, what do you expect when McBride is in the room?
Check out the interviews below. Alien: Covenant opens on May 19.
