Four new intense promos have been released ahead of the anticipated premiere of Syfy’s new alien conspiracy series Hunters.

The brainchild of The Walking Dead producer Gale Anne Hurd and 12 Monkeys producer Natalie Chaidez, the series is based on Whitley Strieber’s Alien Hunter bestselling novel.

The series follows decorated FBI agent Flynn (Nathan Phillips, Wolf Creek) who is investigating his wife’s disappearance which leads him to a secret government unit called the Exo Terrorism Unit. Joining the ETU, Flynn is partnered with Regan (Brite Oldford), one of the team's most valuable operatives, for reasons that will become very clear as the story progresses.

The series also stars Julian McMahon (Nip/Tuck) as McCarthy, a deranged junkie and Hunter cell leader. And yep, he’s the white-haired/bearded dude. Syfy promises that “Hunters will push boundaries by redefining what makes a terrorist and offer a unique crossover twist between gritty crime drama and sci-fi thriller.” Check it out:

Hunters will premiere on April 11 at 10/9c. Will you be tuning in?
