Syfy has released a brand-new exciting trailer for their upcoming alien conspiracy series Hunters, shown yesterday at the Television Critics Association.

Produced by Gale Ann Hurd (The Walking Dead) and written by Natalie Chaidez (Syfy’s 12 Monkeys), Hunters is a new 13-episodes crime drama/thriller/sci-fi TV series based on bestselling author Whitley Strieber’s novel Alien Hunter

Following the mysterious kidnapping of his wife, decorated FBI agent “Flynn” Carroll (Nathan Phillips) joins a special government unit (the Exo Terrorism Unit or ETU for short) that are on the hunt for a group of ruthless terrorists who are less than human. Yep, they’re actually big bad aliens that look like us and live among us. While there, Flynn is partnered with Regan (Brite Oldford) who happens to be one of the government’s most valuable operatives, and this new trailer reveals exactly why.

Also starring in the upcoming Syfy series is Julian McMahon (Childhood’s End), totally unrecognizable in the role of McCarthy, a deranged junkie and Hunter cell leader.

Hunters will premiere on April 11. Will you be watching?
