It’s usually Netflix bringing the high-profile genre originals, but this month Hulu is taking the spotlight with its ambitious Stephen King drama Castle Rock. But that's not all there is to stream.

Along with Hulu's high-profile deep dive into the creepiest little town in King lore, Hulu is also stacking the deck with the fourth season of pandemic thriller The Last Ship, as well as the fourth season of adventure series The Librarians. Netflix is bringing some quality movies, led by the original Jurassic Park trilogy, Her, and the space horror flick Pandorum. Pandorum has a real Alien vibe and is well worth a watch if you missed it the first time around. Amazon Prime is getting a bigger boat with the Jaws films, plus the fantastic final season of genre-adjacent thriller The Americans.

Check out our full rundown below and let us know what you’ll be streaming.

Jurassic Park: The original trilogy is all here to revisit, but let's be honest, it's hard to beat your OG dinosaur adventure. Steven Spielberg’s landmark film is just as good to this day, and those practical effects are still jaw-dropping. If Fallen Kingdom didn’t scratch your itch, this should do the trick.

Pandorum: It’s not the best space horror film ever, but if you’re looking for something to check off a few of those Alien boxes, this is the perfect find. It’s atmospheric, moody and includes a pretty good mystery hidden on that derelict ship.

Her: The award-winning tech drama lit the world on fire back in 2013, as a man (Joaquin Phoenix) falls in love with an operating system (Scarlett Johansson). Considering how much services like Alexa and Google Assistant have permeated our lives, it makes for an interesting time to revisit Spike Jonze's story.

The Librarians Season 4: There’s not much else out there these days that hits this big, blue-sky fantasy adventure vibe, and if that’s your kind of thing, The Librarians is a silly thrill ride with a ton of heart. If you’re still missing Warehouse 13, don’t sleep on this one.

The Last Ship Season 4: What started as a mission to cure a virus has evolved into a sweeping drama about trying to rebuild society after most of it has been torn apart. It also includes some excellent, Michael Bay-approved action to tie together all that world-building.

Castle Rock: The J.J. Abrams-produced drama is set within the fictional town of Castle Rock, the setting of several of Stephen King’s creepiest stories. The Hulu original is garnering quite a bit of buzz, and everything we’ve seen looks more than creepy enough for a King series.

Jaws (Franchise): You’re gonna need a bigger, umm, TV? Amazon is putting the Jaws franchise together for what will almost certainly make for an epic weekend of shark insanity. Oh, and what better way to get fired up to see The Meg on the big screen?

V for Vendetta: This Alan Moore adaptation was a modest box-office hit at the time and continues to age fairly well with its tale of a neo-fascist regime. The cast, including Natalie Portman, Hugo Weaving, and John Hurt, is also top-notch.

The Americans Season 6: It’s all been leading to this. The final season of FX’s genre-adjacent Cold War thriller came to an end earlier this year, and now fans can catch up on Amazon Prime. The ending is great, and if you’ve never given this one a shot, now is the perfect time to dig into the completed saga.
