The show might’ve come to an end last season, but Fringe fans will get a consolation prize this fall with Fox’s Almost Human — and they might even see a few familiar faces along the way.
Developed by Fringe masterminds J.H. Wyman and J.J. Abrams, the new future-set robo-cop show boasts some very solid sci-fi chops. But according to Wyman, it’ll also boast some former Fringe cast members before it's all said and done.
In a lengthy interview with IGN, Wyman teased that he’s already hard at work writing some parts for his old Fringe pals. He doesn’t say who might show up, but we’re extremely curious to see how those beloved actors will fit in this new world:
“I can guarantee you that we’re going to see Fringe actors. I miss all of them so much, and we’ve been keeping in touch. Anything I can do -- it’s just got to be worthy of them, because they’re all in my heart. I want to write them great stuff and make sure they come out with a big bang.”
So, who do we want to see? The obvious options are Anna Torv, Joshua Jackson, John Noble or Jasika Nicole. But Lance Riddick would probably fit the future-cop mold pretty well, while Kirk Acevedo and Seth Gabel remain fan favorites. Heck, let's just go all out and have an epic Over There crossover at some point.
Which Fringe stars do you hope will show up on Wyman’s new show?
