Ahead of their trek to San Diego Comic-Con, AMC recently released some new images previewing what's to come on The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead.
Later this month, both of AMC's zombie-centered shows will hit the stage at San Diego Comic-Con for two panels hosted by super-fan Yvette Nicole Brown (Community). But before they make it to San Diego, AMC has released some new images in preparation for the premiere of The Walking Dead's ninth season and the mid-season return of Fear the Walking Dead's fourth season later this fall.
In the image for The Walking Dead, we see the U.S. Capitol building in rough shape as Rick (Andrew Lincoln), Daryl (Norman Reedus), Carol (Melissa McBride), Maggie (Lauren Cohan), and Michonne (Danai Gurira) stand in the foreground looking ready for a fight and states only that the series will return in October. Season 9 of The Walking Dead will "jump forward" and "play with time," according to the new showrunner Angela Kang.
The key art for the return of Fear the Walking Dead has way more going on. Basically every member of the cast brandishes a weapon on the poster which reads "No calm after the storm." The crew is surrounded by a hurricane and walkers -- not exactly where anyone would want to be stuck. The second part of Season 4 will return on August 12 and pick up after the heartbreaking mid-season finale.
The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead will have back-to-back panels at San Diego Comic-Con in Hall H on Friday, July 20.
