The new season of American Horror Story (dubbed Apocalypse) is bringing many former castmembers back to the show. Naturally, this is leading to plenty of reunions on the set, and many of them are being shared via social media.
We've already seen the return of Emma Roberts, as well as the reunion of the witches from Coven. Returning stars Connie Britton and Dylan McDermott got their moment as well, and today the reunion train continues to roll.
Dylan McDermott and Evan Peters will reprise their roles from the show's first season, Murder House, as this season is shaping up to be a crossover of that installment with Season 3's Coven. In the former, McDermott played Dr. Ben Harmon, and Peters played a high school shooter/ghost.
McDermott shared his reunion with Evan Peters on his Instagram:
With Murder House alum Britton also returning, and this could prove more than terrifying. Peters' character raped Britton's character during that season while dressed up like Rubber Man. The result was a child, believed to be the Antichrist, and that could potentially be the spark of the apocalypse that this new season refers to in the title.
The new season will feature many AHS favorites, including Taissa Farmiga, Sarah Paulson, Frances Conroy, Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates, Billy Eichner, and Billie Lourd. Joan Collins herself has also joined the cast, playing the grandmother of Peters’ character. Here's hoping that Captain Kirk won't have to swoop in and let Collins get run over in order to stop the spread of global fascism.
American Horror Story: Apocalypse will debut on Sept. 12 on FX.
