American Horror Story: Apocalypse: Ryan Murphy teases Murder House get-together

American Horror Story returns to FX this fall with Apocalypse, and will be tying together previous seasons of the popular horror anthology series.

Co-creator Ryan Murphy has already shared a tease of the characters from AHS: Coven, but today he released a photo that really threw things back to the show's inception in 2011, with AHS: Murder House.

Murphy's Instagram photo, which comes on the heels of the reunion announcement, shows Connie Britton (Vivien Harmon) and Dylan McDermott (Dr. Ben Harmon) chilling in front of the stained glass window in their lovely, albeit cursed, home.

"Connie and Dylan," reads the accompanying caption. "The Harmon’s in their forever AHS home...Murder House."

At the end of the first season, the Harmon family finds itself trapped forevermore within Murder House as apparitions. Hoping to keep others from suffering the same fate, they go full Beetlejuice and scare other families (who are hoping to move in) away from the haunted/cursed domicile.

American Horror Story: Apocalypse will start spreading its fallout on Sept. 12 and will feature the directorial debuts of AHS stars Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters.
