We've been seeing an impressive assortment of colorful new clips, TV spots and trailers for Disney/Pixar's The Good Dinosaur, their latest big-budget animated feature, which imagines a primeval world where the infamous asteroid breezes past our planet instead of impacting it.  A collaborative effort between Walt Disney Studios and Pixar Animation, this family-friendly holiday film boasts some amazingly lifelike CGI and a breezy tone telling the coming-of-age tale of an adventurous Apatosaurus, his caveboy buddy, Spot, and a trio of T-rexes named Butch, Nash and Ramsey.

Here's the official synopsis:

The Good Dinosaur asks the question: What if the asteroid that forever changed life on Earth missed the planet completely and giant dinosaurs never became extinct? Pixar Animation Studios takes you on an epic journey into the world of dinosaurs where an Apatosaurus named Arlo makes an unlikely human friend. While traveling through a harsh and mysterious landscape, Arlo learns the power of confronting his fears and discovers what he is truly capable of.

Check out these two new clips, entitled Butch's Scar and Jobs, and tell us if you're going to join this intrepid tribe of dinos when the movie strikes cineplexes later this month.

Directed by Peter Sohn (Monsters University, Partly Cloudy), The Good Dinosaur tromps into theaters in time for Thanksgiving on Nov. 25, 2015.
