He said he'd be back, and he is... and so is she!
In honor of Hamilton's 62nd birthday, Schwarzenegger, 71, uploaded a dual photo: one of himself and Hamilton from 1984 (during the shooting of the first movie) and one of them today. This is their first time acting together since Terminator 2: Judgment Day in 1991. Sorry, we're not counting the time they briefly reprised their roles for a Universal theme park ride, T2-3D: Battle Across Time, in 1996.
"Happy birthday to my dear friend Linda Hamilton," wrote Schwarzenegger. "One of my favorite co-stars, a true badass, and a wonderful human being. I’m pumped to be back together again."
Check out the heartwarming photos below:
The two actors are known for portraying the iconic roles of the T-800, a murderous robot from the future that is sent back in time to kill Sarah Connor, the mother of the boy who will lead the human resistance against the machines.
Directed by Tim Miller (of the first Deadpool), the upcoming Terminator movie is produced by creator James Cameron and will feature Mackenzie Davis (Blade Runner 2049), Gabriel Luna (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Natalia Reyes (Birds of Passage), and Diego Boneta (Scream Queens).
While not much is known about its plot, Terminator 6 travels back in time to movie theaters everywhere on Nov. 15, 2019.
