A few weeks ago, former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, who also starred in such sci-fi staples as Terminator and Total Recall, underwent planned heart surgery. Now, he's back to thank fans for their support.
On Mar. 29, at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, Schwarzenegger underwent planned, open-heart surgery to replace a valve due to a congenital heart defect. The day after the surgery, his spokesperson Daniel Ketchell said Schwarzenegger was in stable condition and recovering well from the procedure.
Today, the Terminator himself took a moment to reassure fans that he's on the mend and feeling "good" saying, “I can’t say, even with my positive attitude, that I’m great, because I’m not great yet. Great is a totally different level. But I’m good. I feel good… Everything is fantastic.”

It's nice to see Schwarzenegger, 70, recovering. Hearing that someone is undergoing heart surgery can be scary, but Schwarzenegger seems upbeat and ready to face the challenges. After all, his first words post-surgery were "I'm back," according to Ketchell.
And it truly seems he is on his way back. Schwarzenegger has upcoming roles in King Fury and the new Terminator movie, so hopefully he'll truly be back in action soon. We're sending best wishes to Mr. Universe as he continues to recover.
