If you're a fan of Arrow, and you were already excited for the upcoming seventh season of Ryan Murphy's American Horror Story, then this bit of casting news should really hit the mark.

But let's allow Mr. Murphy to take care of the announcement in his own unique, and slightly twisted way...

According to Murphy (via THR), Colton Haynes has signed up for Season 7 of F/X's anthology series, which should be dropping during its usual pre-Halloween time. Character details are mum at this point, but judging from Murphy's Instagram post, Haynes will play someone decidedly more blonde than his Arrow character Roy Harper/Arsenal, or his Teen Wolf character, Jackson Whittemore, for that matter. And he'll also apparently be in need of a wet-nap.

This won't be the first Haynes/Murphy rodeo, as Haynes played Tyler in two episodes of Fox's Scream Queens. Billie Lourd (Carrie Fisher's daughter), a veteran of that same series, will join Haynes as a newcomer on Season 7 of AHS, as will comedian/actor Billy Eichner. Though Season 7 remains highly secretive, we do know that it will begin the day after the election, and will maintain an election theme throughout.

So, what do you think? Do you second Haynes' nomination?
