Turns out that Arrow season-two episode title pointing to a huge new supervillain wasn't correct, but the real thing might be close enough.
Earlier this week a Green Arrow fan site reported that the title for the fifth episode of Arrow's forthcoming second season would be "The Demon's Head," leading some fans to speculate that legendary DC Comics supervillain Ra's al Ghul and/or his associates might be joining the Arrow universe. At the time, we noted that no one at The CW had confirmed that title yet, and it's a good thing we took the news with a grain of salt, because it turns out that's not what the episode is called.
So what will the episode be titled? Here's series co-developer and executive producer Marc Guggenheim, via Twitter.
So, that's still a reference to Ra's al Ghul, albeit a less direct one, and it could be pointing us more toward assassins from the League rather than the League's leader. Still, that doesn't mean we couldn't see Ra's al Ghul on the show.
What do you think? Does this title still hint that Ra's al Ghul will show up, or are you just expecting some of his lackeys?
