Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) has become adept at hiding his secret superhero identity on The CW's Arrow, but his daughter is a different story. During an appearance at Heroes & Villains Fan Fest in London, Amell brought his 5-year-old daughter, Mavi, onstage to prove this point in the most adorable way possible.
“My daughter is the very, very worst at keeping my secret identity. She tells everybody that I’m the Green Arrow. Watch this. Mavi, do not tell people that I’m the Green Arrow.”
Taking her father's side, Mavi held the microphone and said, “My dad is the Green Arrow" to great applause and cheers.
Last month, Arrow was renewed for a seventh season on The CW. Two things we know for sure about the upcoming season are that there will be a team of supervillains and Oliver Queen will be rocking a comic-inspired goatee. Oh, and his secret is presumably out in the open now — so Mavi should be okay to spill the beans.
As for the iconic goatee: "In Season 7 I am going to debut the goatee,” Amell said at Motor City Comic Con. “I can’t promise that I’m going to keep [the goatee] forever. I can definitely promise that I’m not going to wear the stupid hat.”
