This year’s epic Arrowverse crossover will showcase an invasion of villains from a world where the Nazis have won World War II, introduce new gay superhero The Ray (Russell Tovey), and feature super evil versions of our heroes including Supergirl, Flash and Green Arrow. Now a new behind-the-scenes pic just spoiled the identity of Earth-X’s Reverse-Flash.

While we still don’t know the identities of Earth-X’s Green Arrow or Prometheus yet (we’re guessing they will be played by their respective actors Stephen Amell and Josh Segarra), we know Supergirl’s Melissa Benoist will voice Overgirl on The CW Seed's upcoming animated series Freedom Fighters: The Ray; meaning it’s a safe bet to say she will also portray the masked character on “Crisis on Earth-X.”

Filming is currently underway in Vancouver and someone managed to snap a very spoilery picture that reveals the identity of the man behind the Flash/Reverse-Flash mask. Are you ready for it?

Here it is:

Yep. That’s none other than Tom Cavanagh suiting up once again in the yellow and black leather suit he wore back in Season 1 (though now he’s sporting an SS emblem in the shape of lightning bolts on his chest). Of course, Harrison Wells was revealed to be Eobard Thawne (thanks to some face-stealing tech), aka the Reverse-Flash, early in Flash's run. Now, it’s unclear if this is Thawne playing Wells again in this version of the character, but it’s more likely that this is another Wells who has gained his super-speed via a S.T.A.R. Labs experiment and turned evil, or some such.

“Crisis on Earth-X” will kick off for a two-night extravaganza on Nov. 27 with Supergirl followed by Arrow (the show is airing on a special night), followed by The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow in their regularly scheduled slots on Nov. 28. Are you excited about the upcoming crossover event?
