Marvel is gearing up for a major revamp of the X-Men comic line, and they've put together an all-star team of creators to help set the stage for RessurXion.

The transitional one-shot X-Men Prime will pick up the pieces left behind after the Inhumans vs. X-Men event. Creators Marc Guggenheim (Arrow) and Ken Lashley tackle a first look at X-Men Gold, which finds Kitty Pryde's long-awaited return to lead this new X-Men team.

We also get a first look at X-Men Blue, the new series from writer Cullen Bunn and artist Leonard Kirk, which will take the other X-Men crew into a high-stakes session in the Danger Room. The one-shot will also feature a Weapon X story from Greg Pal and Ibraim Roberson, digging into a thriller about mutants being targeted.

It’s been a long time since the X-Men were a truly relevant piece of the Marvel Comics universe, with the focus shifting to the Avengers and Inhumans over the past few years. There's hope that this new X-Men revamp will right the ship, and the sample pages here certainly look to up the stakes.

The X-Men Prime issue hits shelves on March 29. Check out the first look below.
