Yoda rescues autistic girl and saves a wedding. Really.

Yoda is the wise and wizened master who aided Luke in his quest to become a Jedi, but that was a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away. Still, Yoda is so awesome that he could help someone in the here and now, as evidenced by his helping an autistic girl to do her thing as a flower girl at a wedding.

According to The Offbeat Bride, the girl, known as T, was anxious about her role as a flower girl at her mother's wedding:

T, the flower girl, had spent the morning hiding under the bed. She has autism, and the prospect of an event with all those people was pretty daunting. T's aunty finally coaxed her out from under the bed with the promise of a Yoda backpack. Her aunt took her to the toy shop, and from that moment on Yoda sat on her shoulder and she seemed to feel safe with him there.

When it came time to put on the dress and head to the church T flat refused to go without Yoda on her shoulder. Her mother, the bride, said to her family "If Yoda helps T get to the church and walk down that aisle with all those people watching, then Yoda is coming!"

There you have it: Yoda, who kicks ass on so many levels, gave a youngling strength to carry out her flower-girl duties. He's a Jedi master, a member of the Jedi Council and a swordmaster. Now we can add one more skill to his list of accomplishments: wedding crasher.
