Avengers...disassemble! Doesn't have the same ring to it. While we wait for Avengers: Infinity War to come crashing into our cinemas bigger and louder than Thanos after eating a billion pixie sticks, series directors the Russo Brothers are working on it's sequel, the as yet untitled Avengers 4.

The film that will close out this phase of the MCU (and will include Brie Larson's Carol Danvers) recently wrapped on Hawkeye actor Jeremy Renner, and today it looks like it is wrapped for good.

Unless the idea of the "wrap cake" is to bring out an elaborate cake when you still have a month of shooting left to go, the following tweet seems like confirmation that the movie is wrapped:

The cake in question is almost too beautiful to eat. It features a confectionary version of Josh Brolin's Thanos, perched atop a small platform that is held in place by a fingerless black glove. The ring-of-darts bracelet beneath the hand might indicate that it is Natasha Romanoff holding the sugary plinth, or it could just be a random hand. It could be Justin Hammer holding him up, anything is possible. All of the Infinity Stones appear on the cake, as well as individual symbols for all of the main Avengers.

Though the film is not due to open until 2019, there is certainly a healthy helicarrier's worth of post production work to be done on it. While we wait, we can see how Thanos is going to mess with our heroes in the first part of this epic saga, which will be hitting cinemas on May 4, 2018. Now get that cast a fork!
