It's finally here: The latest Marvel film, Avengers: Infinity War, opens today. And for those who have yet to see it, the movie’s cast and late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel got together to share some spoilers. But don't worry, they're not actually spoilers. At all.
On Jimmy Kimmel Live Thursday night, Avengers stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Don Cheadle, Elizabeth Olsen, and Winston Duke talk about the secrecy surrounding the script for Avengers: Infinity War. But enough secrecy — the movie’s out, and we want answers!
Well, answers are what we got. Last night on the talk show, each Infinity War cast member revealed an actual spoiler from the film. Or is spoiler the right word? Let’s just call them what they are: bombshells.
Seriously, folks, if you don’t want the movie spoiled for you, maybe now’s the time to walk away, because the cast lets us know some actual things that happen in the film.
For example, Duke reveals: “I play M'Baku. And I. Run. Really fast.”
That’s right. Bet you didn’t know that, did you?
Here’s another bomb that Olsen drops: her character (Scarlet Witch) sees a train—but that’s only half the story!
The other Infinity War cast members drop similarly astonishing spoilers about the movie and their characters during the film. Okay, so maybe these aren’t the most pulse-pounding revelations. But they are real spoilers! (And by "spoilers," we mean "they happen in the movie.")
Regardless, we don’t want to spoil the rest of these revelations for you, so if you want to hear the rest of the "spoilers," you’ll have to check out the video below. Just be prepared to have your mind blown.
Also during the show, the cast chatted with Kimmel about exactly what goes down when they travel the world to promote the film — and what happens when they visit comic book stores. Turns, out, some really nice perks: Duke, for example, shared that he recently walked into a comic book shop in North Hollywood, where the clerk recognized him and gave him every issue his character appeared in, saying: "Good luck." Not a bad perk for a superhero.
