Fun fact about goats: They don't care if you're the ruler of the most technologically advanced nation on Earth, they'll interrupt you no matter what. That's what happens in the latest gag reel for Avengers: Infinity War.
King T'Challa (Chadwick Boseman) is trying to bring Bucky (Sebastian Stan) back into the fray, but a goat keeps bleating in the background. Finally, Danai Gurira breaks character as Okoye and laughs, causing Boseman's Black Panther to crack a smile and call out the farm animal. "You are going too far now," he says, still using T'Challa's Wakandan accent.
Watch the exchange take place below:
There's also Paul Bettany, who plays Vision, flubbing his lines during a tense moment with Captain America (Chris Evans) while shooting the final conflict with Corvus Glaive. Then, when he tries to deliver a line about destroying the Mind Stone, someone just offscreen causes him to laugh. We learn it's none other than Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) when Bettany says "F*** you, Ruffalo," through his laugh.
You can see how they made Peter Dinklage (Eitri) tower over Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Groot (Vin Diesel), and Rocket (Bradley Cooper). He stood against a blue screen with cardboard cutouts of the three heroes at his feet. After that, you're treated to Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) singing Mary Poppins and a good chunk of the cast busting some moves.
The gag reel is the perfect remedy to the movie's crushing darkness, and drops in time to hawk the arrival of the film's Blu-ray and 4K UHD Blu-ray, which go on sale today.
