Way back in January 2017, rumors began circulating about Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones) joining Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War and now the release of a poster has confirmed it.

The artwork for the eagerly anticipated MCU team-up did more than get fans excited for the film, it also revealed some new information. The poster itself shows the plethora of Marvel heroes joining the film — everyone from Scarlet Witch (Elisabeth Olsen) to Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) to Gamora (Zoe Saldana) shows up on the poster. It truly is the "who's who" of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

But perhaps the most interesting information to be gleaned from the poster is at the bottom where the credits are listed. Right between Idris Elba and Benedict Wong (how nice!) is the very tiny confirmation that Peter Dinklage is somehow involved in the film. That's right, the MCU just got cooler.

There's no word on what character Dinklage will play but ever since the speculation of his involvement began last year, fans have been trying to figure it out. A new haircut led some to believe he'll play Pip the Troll, a Marvel Comics character associated with Adam Warlock. But honestly, with the number of characters in this film, who knows whom he'll appear as.

Marvel is notoriously good at keeping this info on lock so we likely won't find out until the film hits theaters. SYFY WIRE has reached out to Dinklage's representatives for comment and will update with any new details.

Avengers: Infinity War is in theaters April 27.
