Imagine that David Fincher decided to move to Japan and make an anime about a serial killer in a futuristic world of advanced technology on the fictional archipelago nation of Cremona. You picturing it? Good, because now you have a decent idea of Netflix's upcoming anime series B: The Beginning.

A famed investigator for the royal police, a mysterious boy, and a criminal organization all collide in the show, whose highly stylized first trailer you can watch below.

B: The Beginning has some serious talent behind it, having been co-directed by Kazuto Nakazawa, the guy who was in charge of the anime sequence in Kill Bill Vol. 1. Production I.G. is the studio behind the show and is known for having made the Ghost in the Shell series.

As for voice actors, the American cast consists of Ray Chase (Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters), Kyle McCarley (Mob Psycho 100), Faye Mata (League of Legends), Jalen K. Cassell (The Asterisk War: The Academy City on the Water), Doug Stone (Metal Gear Solid), Allegra Clark (Mass Effect: Andromeda), Khoi Dao (Mob Psycho 100), Patrick Seitz (Terra Formars), Keith Osterberg, and Johnny Yong Bosch (Power Rangers Turbo).

Dive into the mystery when all episodes of the first season arrive on Netflix on March 2.
