Margaret Stohl knows she's a badass. It's an infectious and refreshing attitude that is undeniably why she is a comic con and fan fave. The revered author first brought YA to Marvel with the book Black Widow: Forever Red. Currently on a book tour for its followup, Black Widow: Red Vengeance, her enthusiasm for the character -- and pretty much life in general -- is palpable on social media, where she's often tweeting pics of herself donning a fierce red wig a la Natasha Romanoff and pics of their stops that look like a cupcake-filled party on wheels.

At NYCC, it was announced that she would take on another of Marvel's popular female heroes, Captain Marvel, when she helms the character's relaunch, set to debut in 2017. During New York Comic Con, Stohl stopped by to chat with us about her new book, Black Widow: Red Vengeance (out now), where we find Captain Marvel in the upcoming relaunch, and her stellar advice to anyone looking to break into comics. Also, peep her awesome tee shirt.
