Remember Barack Obama? He's back, in video game form.
Yes, the 44th President of the United States will be joining basketball legend Shaquille O'Neal in the upcoming beat-em-up Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn. But Obama will be more than just a playable character. In fact, he's getting his own bonus mini-game, Barack Fu: The Adventures of Dirty Barry.
According to Variety, the game finds Obama on a quest to solve a series of grisly celebrity murders. With the police out of leads, they call in "Dirty Barry" to help bring the killer to justice. If that doesn't sound ridiculously awesome enough, the adventure will take him across the globe and even into outer space to thwart his enemies.
The teaser for Barack Fu doesn't give much away in terms of gameplay, but does seem to set the tone for the whole premise.
Along the way, Dirty Barry will face off against everything from politicians to clones to some flying butts (yes, really), all out to stop him on his outlandish quest. Armed with an assault rifle and some grenades, he'll also be equipped with signature moves like the "Barack 'N Rolla" and the "South Side Smash." There's even a "Peace Prize Drone Strike" special attack when things start getting overwhelming.
Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn, which will be available on all major platforms, is a follow-up to the 1994 fighting platformer Shaq Fu. The sequel seems determined to win over players with its revamped graphics and over-the-top weirdness. However, those who want in on The Adventures of Dirty Barry will need to act fast, as it will be exclusive to those who order a physical copy of the game.
So, if you want the chance to kick some flying butt in outer space as the former President, best get your pre-orders in now. Shaq Fu: The Legend Continues will be in stores tomorrow, June 30.
