The spawn of the Caped Crusader and the Man of Steel are joining forces in DC's Super Sons #1, pairing the pint-sized protectors in a rollicking adventure series sure to attract a wide variety of comic-book crazies.

Written by Peter J. Tomasi, with art by Jorge Jimenez, the series will chronicle the burgeoning friendship and rivalry between Robin and Superboy as they deal with the perils of growing up as the rambunctious offspring of two of the World's Greatest Superheroes.

Here's the official solicitation synopsis:

The sons of Batman and Superman have graduated to their own monthly comic — but if they want to survive, they're going to have to share it! Writer Peter J. Tomasi (BATMAN & ROBIN, SUPERMAN) teams with rising-star artist Jorge Jimenez (EARTH 2) to bring you the adventures of the World’s Smallest. This debut issue looks at the lives of Robin and Superboy and their destiny to follow in their fathers' footsteps while we meet a new villain whose ascension parallels the boys' own understanding of their powers — except that he believes it's his right to rule over every being on the planet!

Super Sons #1 hits comic shops on February 15. Toddle into this new five-page unlettered preview and tell us if the kids are alright.
