Batman fans: You can wait until 2016 to watch the Caped Crusader go toe-to-toe with the Man of Steel. But for those who want to get their Batman on in 2014, there's an upcoming videogame that has Bruce Wayne's name all over it. And it's made of LEGOs.
LEGO Batman 3 will be the sequel to LEGO Batman 2, an open-world game and the first of the LEGO games to include an original plot and dialogue. The previous game's best feature was a delightfully grumpy Bruce Wayne. And as we see from the clip below, the world's greatest detective still hasn't ungrumped. Contemplating the depths of space, Batman barely tolerates Superman's overly cheerful presence.
If you haven't played the LEGO series of videogames, you're missing some of the most fun games - including Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, and Indiana Jones - available today. As you work your way through the game, you have to solve simple puzzles and collect studs. Each of the characters you play (and you can eventually choose from a plethora of DC characters, such as Superman) has their own special abilities: For example, Batman to grapple up the side of a building, but only Robin can walk on magnetized surfaces.
LEGO games are co-operative, so you can play with a buddy. And speaking of co-operative play, Bruce and Clark have to work together, so we don't have to worry about which superhero will win in a fight (But Clark wins, in case you're wondering).
LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham will be coming to the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS Vita, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, and Windows PC some time in Fall 2014.
Check it out.
