It's been 25 years, but Batman: The Animated Series is still one of the best adaptations of the Dark Knight ever to be attempted. Now one of its greatest episodes has become a card game.

Based on the episode "Almost Got 'Im," the card game casts players as some of Gotham's worst villains (i.e. Poison Ivy, Joker, Riddler, Penguin, Two-Face and Killer Croc) as they recount the times they almost caught Batman. It's based on the episode where pretty much the same thing happens, and spoiler alert, Batman is secretly disguised as one of the baddies. So the card game tasks players with either trying to take out the baddies as secret Batman or sussing out which of your fellow crooks is actually a hero in disguise.

It sounds like a good time, and with games lasting around a half hour, it's not too much of a time commitment. If you're looking to revisit one of the best episodes in a new way, this could certainly do the trick.

Batman: The Animated Series Almost Got 'Im Card Game is available from Cryptozoic Entertainment for $20.
