Batman, the alter ego of Bruce Wayne (or is it the other way around?), is as tough on crime as he is on himself...as he is on everyone around him. He takes security to the extreme. Heck, he takes everything to the extreme. And this includes Superman.
In this television clip for the upcoming Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Batman talks about his Bat-plans for Superman. It goes as well as you can expect from Batman: a caped crusader who takes sensible precaution and runs far, far away with it.
As Bruce Wayne tells Alfred, “He has the power to wipe out the entire human race. And if we believe there’s a 1 percent chance that he is our enemy, we have to take it as an absolute certainty.” See how he goes from 1 percent to 100 percent in the same sentence? That’s our Bruce.
Then he says, “And we have to destroy him.”
Yup, the character is consistent, alright.
Superman and Batman have been friends/enemies/frenemies for years in the comic books. But although the titans of DC Comics have had multiple television/film appearances, they’ve never met in person on the silver screen. That changes with the upcoming Batman v. Superman. The movie releases to much anticipation on March 25, 2016.
