Batman's not the only Justice League member in Suicide Squad

Ahead of the film’s official opening next weekend, Warner Bros. has dropped the full cast list for Suicide Squad … and it includes a surprise or two.

Potential spoilers ahead for DC’s Suicide Squad film!

So, the cast list is broken out in order of appearance, and it seems Ezra Miller’s version of The Flash will be stopping by for a cameo very early, though we’d imagine it’ll likely be a brief one. We’ve already glimpsed a Batman cameo or two in the trailers, and it seems director David Ayer is sprinkling in another DC hero to try and flesh out the world a little bit more. We wouldn’t expect him to be a major factor, and considering it’s a film about villains, it stands to reason Barry Allen’s alter ego may have run into one or two of these guys in the past.

But, most interestingly, here’s hoping we actually get a good look at that Flash suit in action — as opposed to the blurred-out mess we peeked in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. For those keeping track of the timeline, Suicide Squad is set after the events of Batman v Superman, so it makes sense Flash might be kicking around. He’s also credited as The Flash, instead of Barry Allen, so it seems likely this cameo should be in costume.

Suicide Squad opens Aug. 5.
