Author and screenwriter Seth Grahame-Smith has been given the task of resurrecting our favorite bio-exorcist for the big screen, but things have been quiet as a crypt lately ... until now.

Obviously clearing off his plate after work on Dark Shadows, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and the Fantastic Four polish, the twisted writer posted a photo to his Twitter feed of someone in the iconic black-and-white Beetlejuice suit with a clawed hand gesturing to a blank Apple computer screen with the line "It's Showtime."  Have a peek ...

We first let you know of the project back in 2011, when Warner Bros. signed Grahame-Smith to a deal to inject life into Tim Burton's 1988 classic, with Burton, Winona Ryder and Michael Keaton rumored to return.  Last year, Grahame-Smith had promised work would begin after his Unholy Night adapation and with the Beetlejuice 25th anniversary upon us, timing couldn't be better.
