Work is well underway on Zack Snyder’s Justice League, and now Ben Affleck has dropped a fascinating bit of footage that reveals that a major DC baddie will be coming to the big screen. We’re just not sure if it's from Justice League or his solo Batman movie.

Affleck took to Twitter to reveal a piece of concept footage showing Deathstroke walking up and looking around. He looks great, like a mix of the modern video game versions and the live-action take via The CW’s Arrow (where he was played by Manu Bennett). There’s just one problem: Affleck didn’t actually give us any context for the clip, so we don’t know if it's from the currently-in-production Justice League or the pending Batman solo film Affleck is lined up to direct down the line.

The Wrap claims the clip is likely a piece of concept work from Affleck’s solo Batman film, as they are reporting an anonymous source claiming that Deathstroke will be that film’s primary villain. Of course, that doesn’t mean we won’t actually meet him in Justice League (DC is showing a propensity for introducing as many characters as possible as soon as possible, so it makes sense).

Check out the clip below and let us know what you think:
