Here's the first look at Bill Nye The Science Guy's new show on Netflix.
The streaming service has dropped the first trailer for Nye's new series, which takes his old Bill Nye The Science Guy set-up and cranks it up to 11. Each episode will follow Bill as he tackles specific topics ranging from global warming to sex. Bill will be joined by a team of correspondents and celebrity guests as they put on live experiments, panel discussions and field reports. If that wasn't enough to get you pumped, our own Bad Astronomer, Phil Plait, serves as head science writer on the show.
Netflix has found a whole lot of success mining on nostalgia, and a Bill Nye revival should absolutely appeal to fans of a certain age. The scenes and bits here look like they should be a whole lot of fun, and if Neil deGrasse Tyson gets his own show, why not Nye? Right?
Bill Nye Saves the World premieres April 21 on Netflix. Check out the trailer below.
