Birds of Prey are coming to The CW's Arrow (well, sort of)

The CW's Arrow is on a roll. This season we've seen some great character development for Deathstroke (Manu Bennett), Brother Blood (Kevin Alejandro) and Roy Harper (Colton Haynes). Now they'll tap into their bank of villains to pull Huntress out of retirement. Jessica De Gouw will reprise her role as the mob princess turned vengeance-seeker.

"We consider Jessica a member of the Arrow family, and we're looking forward to having her back for an episode everyone will be talking about after," says executive producer Marc Guggenheim. De Gouw will return in an episode titled "Birds of Prey." Coincidence? We think not.

Huntress is back to her old tricks: She still wants her father, Frank Bertinelli's (Jeffrey Nordling), head on a silver platter. Once again, however, her mission will put her in Oliver's (Stephen Amell) path. If you remember, they didn't leave things on a good note. Huntress hates his guts and she'll have no problem taking him out. But this time Oliver's got backup, and we're not talking about Diggle.

Huntress will find herself going toe to toe with both Oliver and Sara, aka Canary (Caity Lotz). Now, does the episode title make sense? Both characters appeared in the Birds of Prey comic as part of the superheroine team. We can't wait to see these two formidable fighters in action.

The "Birds of Prey" episode's scheduled to air March 26 at 8 p.m. on The CW.

Are you excited for Huntress to return?
