Black Friday is looming on the horizon like an inescapable storm, and there are a lot of deals out there to consider. The busiest shopping day of the year can be hectic, so we're hoping to help ease your burden. We've already been hard at work gathering the best toy and gaming deals at the biggest retailers. Now we've assembled what we believe are the absolute best offers going down in geekdom this Black Friday.
From video games to fashion, and board games to collectibles, these 15 deals will help put your wallet at ease. All of the deals are limited in time and supply, though, so if you want to ensure you get the most out of your budget, you had better act fast on these incredible deals.
It's also worth noting that these are just the deals we already know about. Plenty of online retailers are holding back their deals until the day-of, so keep an eye out for companies like Amazon, Sideshow Collectibles, LEGO, and more to drop big discounts starting on November 22.
PlayStation 4 1TB Spider-Man Bundle — $199.99 (various)
You've seen this deal crop up at a number of big retailers this week ahead of Black Friday, and that's because it's a first-party offering from Sony.
You won't see a better PlayStation 4 bundle this week than one that includes one of 2018's top games, Marvel's Spider-Man, and the PS4 console with the largest hard drive available. The good news is this bundle will be available just about everywhere. The bad news is just about everyone is going to be hoping to get one.
PlayStation VR Superhot VR/Creed: Rise to Glory Bundle — $249.99 (various)
Like the Spider-Man bundle above, Sony is spearheading the PlayStation VR bundles this Black Friday.
There are a few different PSVR bundles available, but this edition with Superhot VR and Creed: Rise to Glory is the most complete of all those offered. Not only do you get the two games, a PSVR headset, and the PlayStation camera (often sold separately), you also get two Move controllers. Those alone go for $100 a pair.
Don't sleep on this deal if you want the most budget-friendly VR experience available.
Originally priced at $54.95, ThinkGeek is dropping the price of the beautiful Twinkling Stars Skirt more than 80 percent for Black Friday. If you want to literally light up a room the moment you walk in, you can't do much better than to sport this skirt.
Blizzard has been putting out some spectacular statues of the main heroes from Overwatch since the game launched a few years ago. The collection kicked off with the game's "lead" Tracer, and now you can get this fantastic work of art for $70 off its suggested retail price.
God of War — $17 (GameStop)
If you're hoping to get your hands on what's arguably 2018's top action game, you can't do much better than GameStop's $17 price. It's the cheapest this game has ever been and beats out every other retailer this weekend by just enough to make it worth the effort of going to a GameStop.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 — $40 (Walmart)
Activision's latest entry in the blockbuster Call of Duty: Black Ops franchise only just came out, but Walmart is already lowering the price of entry by 33 percent to give buyers the best deal on the popular game. Nobody else is even coming close to matching Walmart on this deal.
Sphero BB-8 — $29.99 (Best Buy)
Though the Sphero BB-8 arrived in late 2015, it's still a tremendous toy three years later. The app-controlled bot is being sold for a fraction of its original price, and for $30 you're getting a great smart-toy that has loads of playability for all ages.
Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle — $19.99 (Best Buy)
The Switch has plenty of good games available, but few of them are seeing discounts as deep as the one Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is getting from Best Buy this weekend. One of the most acclaimed games of 2017, Kingdom Battle being discounted 66 percent is about as good news for your wallet as you're likely to get this weekend.
A $299.99 price tag might not seem like it's much of a deal, but these four-foot tall arcade cabinets typically retail for $399.99 and haven't seen very many sales to this point in their shelf life.
Walmart has editions with Street Fighter II, Galaga, Centipede, and more for $100 off. If you're looking for a showstopper this holiday, this is it.
This book offers a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of Nintendo's latest epic Zelda adventure, and includes details such as a map of Hyrule printed on cloth, an art print of the Champions' photo Link hangs in his Hateno home, and a beautiful glass replica of a spirit orb that don't come with the standard version.
It just came out this week and is already nearly 50 percent off, so don't sleep on it if you love Link like we do.
For kids up to 13 years old, Disney's got some strong deals on its exclusive character costumes.
As the best thing to happen to Star Wars since the Rebels blew up the Death Star, Rey deservedly has earned a spot as a top-tier hero from the franchise. She's loved by kids of all ages, and this $20 discount on her costume is a solid one.
Her Universe has been making delightful Disney-inspired outfits for a few years, but it can be hard to find some of the dresses offered at budget prices. That's why when we saw this Haunted Mansion-inspired dress on sale for 25 percent off, we knew we had to let you know about it.
LEGO Creators Detective's Office — $128 (LEGO Store)
LEGO's big Black Friday plans are still very much under wraps, but a few leaks have hinted at some nice discounts to come.
Though the specific sets due to get a 30 percent discount this weekend are still top secret, we do know the Creators Detective's Office will be getting a nice, new price of $128. It looks like this will be an in-store only offer though, so make sure you know where your local LEGO shop is before heading out.
Anki's app-based racetracks have been a big retail hit for the past few years, but they rarely go on sale. The price of entry is a little steep normally, but Amazon is offering this Fast and the Furious-based starter set for 40 percent off, which is huge.
Plenty of other Anki add-ons will also see cheaper prices this weekend too, so you can build out a nice track at a fraction of the original cost.
Normally a $150 investment, this miniature-based tabletop role-playing game brings all the strategy and war from George R.R. Martin's Game of Thrones novels to life in grand fashion. This Black Friday, you can get this game with over 100 miniatures for just $90.
That's quite a bargain, but like the reign of the Starks, it won't last long.
