If you have Black Panther fever and don't ever want to be cured, you may be looking for a chance to meet Black Panther in the flesh. We're not talking about actor Chadwick Boseman, we're talking about T'Challa himself— and for a limited time he'll be appearing at the Disney California Adventure Park.
According to the Disney Parks Blog, the star character of Marvel's latest smash hit can be seen in the Hollywood backlot area of the park, and he won't be alone. He'll be properly "flanked by his Royal Guards, the Dora Milaje." There is no word yet as to what other characters from the film may be joining him.
This is only the latest event in terms of the MCU breaking into Disney Parks— Guardians of the Galaxy already has a presence, with Guardians of the Galaxy— Mission: BREAKOUT! already taking over the old Tower of Terror. Spider-Man and Captain America have featured in the parks as well, and it's surely only a matter of time before some kind of larger than life Avengers-themed ride (or park extension) comes to the parks.
As Black Panther is currently conquering the box office with no end in sight, this is likely only the beginning of T'Challa's time at Disney. For all we know they may go so far as to turn half of one of the parks into a full-on recreation of Wakanda.
Are you loyal enough to T'Challa to make the pilgrimige to Disney? Do you think it's too soon? Would you be more excited to visit with the Dora Milaje? Let us know in the comments below!
