With less than a month to go before Marvel's Black Panther hits theaters, the cast is kicking things into high gear as they make the rounds to discuss the film and gives us some tantalizing glimpses into the MCU's latest installment before it opens on Feb 16.
Chadwick Boseman, who plays the titular hero himself, T'Challa, dropped by Ellen to show off a new clip from the film and preview of what's to come. In the clip, we see T'Challa's sister, scientist Shuri (Letitia Wright), remote-driving while giving her brother tips on how to get the most out of his vibranium suit as he faces some baddies while showing off the suit's snazzy abilities. (Talk about a sophisticated VR setup — we want one.)
Given how superheroes often try to dodge gunfire, something tells us we'll see more than a few uses of that suit's kinetic-energy build up.
Boseman also discussed meeting his hero Danny Glover and showed off his Black Panther action figure while chatting with Ellen DeGeneres.
Buzz for Black Panther — which many are hailing as a big step forward for diversity in film — has been building as its release date approaches, with advance ticket sales topping Captain America: Civil War to become the biggest for an MCU film ahead of its release.
