There are plenty of comedic moments in Marvel Studios' Black Panther, such as Shuri (Letitia Wright) screaming "What're thoooooooooose?!," Okoye (Danai Gurira) flinging her wig in a Korean casino, or M'Baku (Winston Duke) threatening to feed Agent Ross (Martin Freeman) to his children.
With so many jokes in the movie, imagine how many we didn't get to see as writer-director Ryan Coogler and the rest of the crew were working on the project. You don't have to wonder anymore, because there'll be a nice juicy gag reel with the film's home-video release on May 15. And you won't have to wait another week to see what you're missing, because Lupita Nyong'o (Nakia) posted a little tease of the reel on her Twitter page:
As you can see, there was plenty of dancing on the set by the likes of Nyong'o and the film's villain Michael B. Jordan (Erik Killmonger). There were also plenty of malfunctions and cussing. In addition to the gag reel, some deleted scenes have been making headlines, including one that explores Okoye and Wakabi's (Daniel Kaluuya) relationship and one in which T'Challa (Chadwick Boseman) questions his father's (John Kani) methods as king of Wakanda.
The DVD and Blu-ray for Black Panther arrive on May 15, but if you absolutely can't wait, you can download it tomorrow on digital platforms.
