Black Panther looks to be a lock for number one at the box office when it debuts, but does it also have a number one album accompanying it?

The Kendrick Lamar-curated and -filled soundtrack Black Panther The Album has already given the film’s trailers their beat-driven oomph, and now there’s a new single ahead of its release.

Grammy winners Lamar and The Weeknd have released “Pray for Me” ahead of the album’s full release, although with a pre-order fans can immediately listen to “Pray for Me,” “King’s Dead,” and “All the Stars.”

Check out the single below and let us know what you think:

The sci-fi synthesizer and drums give plenty of reference to the advanced technology of Wakanda and complement the neon visuals we’ve seen so far in the teasers. Aside from lyrics like “Who need a hero? / You need a hero, look in the mirror, there go your hero,” the song continues the album's trend of reflecting not just the tone of the superhero film it soundtracks, but its larger themes.

The album arrives on February 9, while Black Panther opens in theaters on February 16.
