Warner Bros. Pictures has released a pair of posters for Blade Runner 2049.

Directed by Denis Villeneuve (Arrival) from a screenplay by Hampton Fancher (Blade Runner) and Michael Green (Green Lantern), based on a story by Ridley Scott and Hampton, Blade Runner 2049 also stars Ana de Armas, Robin Wright, Jared Leto, Barkhad Abdi, Lennie James, Mackenzie Davis, Sylvia Hoeks, Dave Bautista and Edward James Olmos.

The posters were released via Twitter and offer a new look at Harrison Ford’s iconic Replicant hunter Rick Deckard (rumored to have been hiding in Las Vegas for the past 30 years since Blade Runner), with the tag line “You know his past. Discover his future.” As for Ryan Gosling’s K, this one says: “A new civilization begins now.” The contrast between the two posters is interesting, with the world behind Deckard falling apart, and K standing in a shroud of mystery beside a high-tech sports car. Have a look and chime in with your thoughts.

Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K, unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard, a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.

Blade Runner 2049 will be on the hunt for skin-jobs on Oct. 6.
