We launched a new version of the Blastr app for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch today, redesigned from the ground up. Blastr is now faster, more stable and easier to use than ever before -- and optimized for iPhone 5 -- with a bunch of features we wanted to tell you about.
Commenting - You can now read and add comments to any Blastr article without leaving the app. Comments in the app are the same as on the site, and you can use your Facebook, Twitter or Google+ account to log in.
Sharing - We've made it easier to share articles via Facebook, Twitter and email.
Favorites - Articles can be saved to a Favorites section for easy reading offline.
Video - You'll have access to all of Blastr's original video content. (Note: Video currently is viewable only in the United States.)
Photos - It's now easier to browse images to find interesting articles to read.
Download the new app here!
Don't worry, Android owners -- we haven't forgotten about you! All of the above upgrades should be coming to Android in a matter of weeks.
Thanks, as always, for making Blastr and our apps such a huge success.
**Late-breaking news: Thanks to your feedback, we've discovered a bug in the current app affecting Facebook sharing. We've already submitted a new version to Apple that fixes the issue, and it will appear as an update in a few days.
