It’ll be a brave new world for SYFY WIRE starting Aug. 21, when fans can join us for a jam-packed online watch-a-thon of Peacock’s buzzy new original series, Brave New World. Kick back, pop a soma, and get ready to enjoy a dystopia (for once) because the series' stars and creator are hopping on for a full weekend of goodness that includes watch parties, a full-series binge, and more. And it won’t cost a thing.
Starting this weekend, the entirety of Brave New World will stream for free here — and we're getting in on the fun. The event kicks off on Friday at 8 p.m. ET, with SYFY WIRE, Peacock, showrunner David Wiener, and Brave New Pod podcast host Angélique Roché live-tweeting the first two episodes.
But just because the memes and reactions are kicking off with the first two episodes doesn’t mean fans’ fun has to stop there. All episodes of Peacock’s sci-fi adaptation of Aldous Huxley’s seminal 1932 novel Brave New World will be free to watch on the streaming service this weekend, which means there's a whole nine-episode first season to tweet along with.
Fans can post updates on their wild ride through a world of Alphas, Betas, Epsilons, and high-tech eye implants using the hashtag #BraveNewWorld.
Leading up to the watch-a-thon — where fans will meet John the Savage (Alden Ehrenreich), Bernard Marx (Harry Lloyd), and Lenina Crowne (Jessica Brown Findlay) in the would-be utopia of New London — Findlay will be taking over SYFY WIRE’s Instagram Story and sharing some exclusive behind-the-scenes tidbits for first-time watchers and Brave New World veterans alike.
For more Insta fun, series star Joseph Morgan (who plays CJack60) will follow the live-tweet on Friday night by hosting an Instagram Live After Party (@therealjosephmorgan) at 10 p.m. ET to talk all things Brave and New in this World. If that weren't enough, Wiener will be hosting a post-binge AMA on Reddit the Monday after fans chow down on the full series.
Brave New World premiered on July 15 as one of Peacock’s launch titles. The show also stars Demi Moore, Kylie Bunbury, Hannah John-Kamen, Sen Mitsuji, and Nina Sosanya. Those looking for an in-depth analysis of the series can check out SYFY WIRE's Brave New Pod: The Official Podcast of Brave New World, where host Angélique Roché recaps all of the episodes of Brave New World alongside Wiener and cast members like Ehrenreich, Findlay, Lloyd, Morgan, and Sosanya.
Brave New World is produced by UCP, a division of Universal Studio Group, in association with Amblin Television. The show is available to stream now on Peacock.
(SYFY, SYFY WIRE and Peacock are all owned by NBCUniversal.)
