The latest trailer for Dean Devlin’s upcoming sci-fi disaster movie Geostorm has dropped, featuring more action, more weather gone wild, and more new footage.

The Warner Bros. film is set in a world where man can now control the weather thanks to an intricate network of satellites. Gerard Butler (300) stars as a scientist named Jake who is tasked along with his brother Max (Jim Sturgess) with solving the “satellite program malfunction” responsible for the global weather mayhem you can see below.

The Gerard Butler-starrer was co-written by Devlin (Independence Day) and Paul Guyot (The Librarians). The cast includes a bevy of genre familiars: Abbie Cornish (Limitless), Alexandra Maria Lara (Rush), Daniel Wu (Into the Badlands), Ed Harris (Westworld), Andy Garcia (Passengers), Adepero Oduye (12 Years a Slave), Amr Waked (Lucy), Robert Sheehan (Misfits), Eugenio Derbez (Instructions Not Included), Mare Winningham (American Horror Story), Zazie Beetz (Deadpool 2), and Katheryn Winnick (Vikings).

End-of-the-world weather will be unleashed when Geostorm opens in movie theaters on Oct. 20. Have a look at the trailer and let us know what you think:
